SharpCV guide editorial policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

SharpCV publishes practical guidance for job seekers. Our goal is to help readers make better decisions without inventing credentials, outcomes, hiring rules, or certainty that the evidence does not support.

Who writes and reviews the guides

Guides are produced by the SharpCV Editorial Team. Automated tools may help create a research outline or first draft, but generated drafts are not published automatically. A SharpCV administrator must review and approve a draft before it can become public.

The byline identifies the organization responsible for the work. We will add individual professional reviewers when a qualified reviewer has assessed a guide and agreed to be named; we do not invent expert identities or credentials.

How we research

For material recommendations, we prefer current government guidance, university career services, official employer or platform documentation, and other identifiable primary sources. A source list appears on reviewed guides when external guidance materially informed the article.

Sources support the underlying guidance, not every example sentence. SharpCV's examples and decision frameworks are original editorial synthesis unless stated otherwise.

Accuracy and honesty

Updates and corrections

Reviewed guides show their latest review date. We update guidance when a source, platform, or hiring practice materially changes. If you find an error, use Help & support and include the guide URL and the statement that needs review.
