Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and SharpCV, operated by Chinmoy Goswami. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement. SharpCV is not offered to children. Keep your account secure and provide accurate information.

What SharpCV provides

SharpCV organizes user-supplied career evidence and provides role matching, application drafting, interview preparation, outreach support, tracking and career intelligence. Outputs are decision support—not professional, legal, immigration or recruitment advice. SharpCV does not guarantee interviews, offers, employment, salary, ATS passage or any other outcome.

Your responsibility for content

You retain ownership of content you submit and give SharpCV a limited permission to process it only to operate and improve the service according to your settings. You must have the right to upload it. Review every output before use; you remain responsible for the truth, legality and appropriateness of applications or messages you send.

Acceptable use

Do not use SharpCV to impersonate others, fabricate qualifications, harass people, send spam, violate platform rules, scrape restricted services, upload malware, evade allowances, reverse engineer protected parts of the service or interfere with other users. We may limit or suspend abusive or unlawful use.

Plans, allowances and billing

Free and paid plans have finite monthly allowances displayed on the pricing and settings screens. Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. Polar acts as Merchant of Record and processes checkout, taxes, receipts and payment details. Prices, supported currencies and taxes are shown before purchase. A partner code is subject to its seat limit, expiry and stated terms and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel renewal from Plan & settings or the Polar customer portal. Access normally continues until the end of the paid period. Refund treatment is described in the Refund and cancellation policy; mandatory consumer rights are not excluded.

Availability and changes

Features that depend on third-party providers may be interrupted or changed. We may update allowances, prices or features prospectively, with notice where required. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, but we will not knowingly charge for a plan whose checkout is marked unavailable.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SharpCV is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, missed opportunities, employer decisions or actions taken in reliance on generated content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. For a paid claim, SharpCV's aggregate contractual liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Termination and governing law

You may stop using SharpCV at any time. We may suspend material breaches, security threats or unlawful use and will preserve applicable data and consumer rights. These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
